The original 7 hp B&S gas engine was replaced with a Etek style Manta motor capable of generating 10 hp at 48 volts. Since this is a 36 volt system the electric motor is probably generating about 7 hp. The electric system is made up of 3 - 12 volt Universal batteries wired in series for 36 volts. Aside from the motor, motor mount, batteries, circuit breaker and switch almost everything else on this conversion is factory original. The motor and battery covers have been removed for demonstration purposes only. This type of motor and battery should not be openly exposed to moisture including snow or rain.
